Terms of Service

AlphaLode ("the Service") is operated by Ravenwood Capital Management, LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

AlphaLode provides financial research tools and data derived from public regulatory filings (including United States Securities and Exchange Commission filings), together with related analytics. The Service is provided for research and informational purposes only.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing in the Service is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security. We are not acting as your investment adviser or broker-dealer. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; API keys may not be shared outside your organization.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees for a billing period that has begun are non-refundable, except that duplicate or clearly erroneous charges will be refunded on request.

5. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and the data it returns for your personal or internal business research. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the data as a substitute for the Service, scrape the Service outside the documented API, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or use the Service unlawfully.

6. Data "as is"

Data is compiled from public sources believed reliable, but we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The Service and all data are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or trading losses.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 2, 5, 6, and 7 survive termination.

9. Changes; governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
