1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

Alphalode ('www.alphalode.com' or 'Alphalode') processes personal information for the following purposes and will not use it for any other purposes:
- Confirmation of customer's intention to join, identification and authentication of the customer for the provision of services, maintenance and management of membership, payment for goods or services, supply and delivery of goods or services both online and offline.

① Alphalode processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon at the time of collection from the information subject or within the period specified by law.

- Customer registration and management: Membership registration and management through the website
- Retention period: Immediately deleted upon withdrawal from the website

① Alphalode processes the following personal information:

   – Purpose of collection: Alphalode membership management and marketing use
   – Retention period: Immediately destroyed upon withdrawal

   - Customer inquiries (Non-member):
   – Required items: Inquiry type, name, phone number, email, inquiry details
   – Purpose of collection: Response to customer inquiries and consultation requests, checking service usage records for consultation
   – Retention period: Kept for 2 years after inquiry receipt (However, kept until the time specified by relevant laws)

<Consent for Third-party Provision of Personal Information>
Below are the automatically collected items for which consent is given during Alphalode membership registration (via Google account):

   - Required items: Profile information (profile picture), Google account (email), Google account (phone number), gender, age group
   - Optional items: Birthday, birth year
   - Purpose of collection: Alphalode website channel membership management and marketing use
   - Retention period: Immediately destroyed upon website withdrawal or withdrawal of consent

② Alphalode does not collect personal information of children under 14 years old to protect their privacy.

5. Disposal of Personal Information

Alphalode typically destroys personal information as soon as the purpose of processing is achieved. The procedures, deadlines, and methods for disposal are as follows:

- Disposal procedures: Information provided by users is transferred to a separate database (or paper documents) after achieving the purpose, and it is stored for a certain period according to internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed immediately or within 5 days.
- Disposal deadline: Personal information is destroyed within 5 days from the end of the retention period or the date it is recognized as unnecessary.

 

6. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Collection Devices for Personal Information

① Alphalode uses 'cookies' to store and retrieve user information to provide customized services.

② Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (https) operating the website to the user's computer browser, and they may be stored on the user's PC hard drive.

   - Purpose of using cookies: Used to understand user visits and usage patterns on each service and website, popular search terms, and secure connection status for optimal information provision to users.
   - Installation, operation, and rejection of cookies: Users can refuse to store cookies through the option settings in the Tools> Internet Options> Privacy menu of the web browser.
   - If cookies are rejected, it may cause difficulties in using customized services.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

① This privacy policy takes effect from the date of implementation, and any additions, deletions, or corrections due to legal requirements and policies will be notified through the notice board 7 days before the changes take effect.

9. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

Alphalode, in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, takes the following technical, managerial, and physical measures to ensure security:

① Minimization and education of personnel handling personal information:
   - A designated employee handles personal information, and access is limited to minimize the handling of personal information.

② Technical measures against hacking:
   - Security programs are installed, regularly updated, and checked to prevent leakage and damage to personal information due to hacking, computer viruses, etc. Controlled areas are established with monitoring and blocking measures.

③ Encryption of personal information:
   - User passwords are encrypted and stored securely. Additional security features, such as encryption of important data files and transmitted data or the use of file lock functions, are employed.

④ Preservation of access records and prevention of tampering:
   - Access records to the personal information processing system are stored and managed for a minimum of 6 months. Security features are used to prevent tampering, theft, or loss of access records.

⑤ Access restriction for personal information:
   - Access rights to the database system processing personal information are granted, modified, and revoked to control access to personal information. Intrusion prevention systems are used to control unauthorized access from external sources.
